Read more *** Fast Food TV Ads Linked to Childhood Obesity In a recent study, economists have found a link between exposure to fast food TV ads and child obesity rates. Using several statistical models to tie obesity rates to the amount of time spent viewing fast food advertising, co-authors Shin-Yi Chou of Lehigh College, and Inas Rashad of Georgia State University, found that viewing more fast food commercials on television raises the risk of obesity in children.
